BE MATURE This game is for adult humor and fun which means that the age is set for 18 and older. In the same vein, all pbs must be 18+. All explicit, nsfw written content and nude images must be placed behind the lj-cuts! Although we are an adult roleplay we do insist on the use of lj-cuts when describing sexual or violent themes. We feel that it is only polite to respect that other rpers may not be comfortable with viewing that kind of content so please make sure you do this.

FACES You may choose actors, models, athletes or musicians. If the face you choose is not established fully or you're unsure, ask us. All PB's must be within a 5 year +/- age range of your character. IE: If your character is 25 (or in the case of vampires, appears 25), the PB you choose can be in the age range of 20-30.

JOURNALS Journal names must somehow reflect your character - be it a variation of a character's name, reference to their species, reference to character traits, etc. Your journals can be OOC or IC but they cannot belong to more than one roleplaying game so please make sure to clear out your friend list prior to joining. All posts need to be friend locked but also kept available for the entire community to view and keep up with. So, friend lock yes, customs no. We want to know what is going on with your character, as that is a large part of being active within a community.

APPLYING Our examples policy is fairly minimum. We'll take a journal post and a scene with a couple of tags. We just want to know what your writing is like and we'll tell you if we need more. Same goes for the application, a few bullet points with facts or a traditional personality and history info blurb would be sufficient. The point is to learn more about the character so if there's not enough we'll tell you, especially if it's from a wanted request! Requests need to be approved first by the member who put it up.

CHARACTER LIMIT The current character limit is three characters. To bring more variety to the game and to avoid caps, at least one out of three must be completely different (for example, if you already have two female humans, your third character should be a non-human male). Before you take on more characters, however, do keep in mind you must meet activity checks with all characters to keep them in the game. If you let a character go, you have to wait one week before making a new one.

BE ACTIVE Activity checks will be done through in-game group events. Life happens but our priority is to have fun stories and a good time. We will have group events as well as optional group chats on our discord server once every two weeks. More importantly make sure that you are actively commenting intros, even if they seem repetitive. Threads are considered dead after 2 weeks of inactivity. If you expect to be absent for an extended period of time, please let us know. Failure to request a HIATUS could be mistaken as lack of activity, and could see you removed from the game. If your character is involved in any major plot, and you're dropping them, or leaving the game, please give an explanation to your character's sudden absence. If you disappear without warning, and your character was involved in an important plot, we will be forced to come up with an explanation for you.

MAKE FRIENDS We know what it's like to go into a roleplay and have no one respond to your intro. If you see an intro that hasn't received any comment, please try to comment it and don't just stick with the people you know. No one likes to be ignored so keep your friend list up to date and welcome new people! If your character wishes to make a post which is private to one individual or to a group, please mark said post/comment with [Private To -Character Here-] before the text which needs to be concealed IC.

PLAY NICE This is a roleplay designed for everyone to have a good time. We do not tolerate bullying and have no intention of being a mock arena for ooc fights. If you feel that another roleplayer is picking on you, please inform us and we will solve the situation. Stay realistic and don't be ridiculous with your characters abilities and skills. Your characters do not block every blow, or dodge every kick. They do not know everything that is going on, they do not have some supreme knowledge of what is going to happen next. If a happy coincidence happens every now and then good for your character. However, everyone makes mistakes. No one wants to play with someone whose character is invincible and has no flaws or faults. There is no single ruling class of any species in this game but we do have premade factions for those who would like an alignment. Do not take control of your fellow roleplayers characters (God-modding). It is not fair unless you have their permission to do so. If any roleplayer does this to you, please contact us and we will deal with the situation. Remember that your ooc knowledge won't be the same as ic knowledge. It ruins plots if characters become all-knowing so please refrain from doing this.

MAJOR STORYLINES Game-wide and major or questionable plots must be cleared by us first to avoid potential conflict. While we don't want to strap people down when it comes to running their own plots, we do want to be sure everyone is on the same page, especially when it affects more than a certain set of characters, and want to make sure it isn't fringing on breaking the rules of the game. Pregnancy lines should also be discussed with us. Do not start a pregnancy line without mod approval. With all plots, we expect things to be handled maturely and respectfully, as well as realistically. Consider your character's personality and species. Only mortal characters are allowed to apply as blood dolls. Only alphas and betas will be employed as security. Where it pertains to questionable subject matter (sexual assault, domestic violence/abuse, drug use, self-injury/suicide attempt, etc.), we ask that anything posted on the friends page alluding to/mentioning these things be posted with a trigger warning for those who do not want to see/read anything pertaining to these things. Heavy maiming may only happen with the permission of the writer in control of the character getting maimed. Remember that IC actions will always have IC consequences - both good and bad. We request that you think out your character’s actions before you make them. Character death is a slippery slope. If a death occurs with an NPC character, we do not expect you to get permission first. However, if you plan on killing off your own character, you must let us know, and be sure that this is what you really want to do, and that it has been cleared with anyone else who will be affected by this death. If you play a human who you would like to TURN INTO a werewolf or vampire in-game, it must be mod-approved.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST We reserve the right to reject any applicant if we feel he/she isn't right for the game. We also reserve the right to remove anyone we deem as harmful to the community and our members for the protection of the mental welfare of all involved. Make sure to read all informative posts in this journal and if you feel there is something the game information doesn't cover or clarify on, don't hesitate to ASK us. Please note that these rules may be subject to change. You will always be notified of changes through a post in the ooc community.
